Summary: We are delighted that Dr. Paul Colville-Nash from the Medical Research Council has kindly agreed to provide an update on the government's strategy for stem cells research following the publication of its 'Forward Look in Regenerative Medicine' and will provide details of the various funding streams available. Likewise, we are delighted to be able to welcome Professor Charles ffrench-Constant from the MRC Centre for Regenerative Medicine at the University of Edinburgh to deliver the keynote lecture. In addition, we have a packed programme of short talks from many of the laboratories associated with the OSCI.

For all who have registered, attendance at the symposium, together with all refreshments, lunch and the drinks reception are free of charge.
