On Monday 27 September, the Oxford Martin School launched its new name amidst an audience of over 200 people who came to find out more about how the School is tackling the challenges of the 21st century. Taking place at the Royal Society, the special event included a range of presentations from leading academics in the fields of cosmology, philosophy, pathology and the social sciences.

Shaping the Future of Medicine

On the evening of 28 June, the Royal Institute of British Architects became the site for “the Future of Medicine”, as four academics from the James Martin 21st Century School presented their latest research in the areas of stem cells, particle therapy, nanotechnology and neurodegeneration.
