Physicists are now moving into biology because they can finally play with it and understand it, thanks to nanoscience, according to Dr Sonia Contera.
Speaking at Wired 2011 in November, she said: "Biology happens at a nanoscale and now we have the tools to study it. People like me are using technology to study biology at the nanoscale."
