Monitoring Global Poverty, the report of the Commission on Global Poverty chaired by Sir Tony Atkinson, will be launched on Monday 4 November at the Oxford Martin School. The Commission was set up by the World Bank’s Chief Economist to advise the World Bank on “how to measure and monitor global poverty” in monetary and non-monetary domains.

Tony Atkinson will present the Report and its Recommendations, while Panelists will draw out points of mention. Panelists include Oxford-based and associated Commission members: Robert Allen, Stefan Dercon, James Foster, and Sabina Alkire; as well as Oxfam’s Duncan Green and junior scholars.
