Why pushing creativity out of classrooms will stop children succeeding in the 21st century
Politicians and industry use buzzwords such as ‘creativity’, ‘collaboration’ and ‘imagination’. So why are we taking all the fun out of learning? A 2013 study The Future of Employment: How Susceptible Are Jobs to Computerisation? by Dr Carl Benedikt Frey and Dr Michael Osborne, Co-Directors of the Oxford Martin Programme on Technology and Employment, concluded that, for workers of the future to win the employment race, they will have to increase their creative and social skills.
