Crowdsourcing picture

The Oxford Martin School Trinity Term Seminar Series is co-hosted with the Oxford Martin Programme on Computational Cosmology

This seminar series shows that citizen science and crowd sourcing can be used for a variety of applications including in the social sciences, the media, social machines and the Extreme Citizen Science Programme at UCL.

Dr Chris Lintott, Co-Director of the Programme on Computational Cosmology and Founder of Galaxy Zoo and Zooniverse, will introduce you to the platform that can help you manipulate big data into useful, sometimes lifesaving, information and how the results are often very intriguing.

The seminars in this series will also be live webcast here: https://www.youtube.com/user/21school
