People Dr Laura Lauer
Administrator, Oxford Martin School
Dr Laura Lauer joined the School in May 2007. The role of Administrator is both a practical and strategic one; Laura manages the School’s annual budget and funding processes, human resources and building-related issues but also plans for the School’s long-term sustainability, both financially and academically. As Secretary of the School’s Management Committee, she is a key point of contact between the School and the University’s four Academic Divisions.
Before joining the School, she was Assistant Director at the Rothermere American Institute (2003-2007). Laura began her career at Oxford University working for Professor Susan Iversen (then Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Planning and Resource Allocation), at the University's central administrative service. She has also worked as a university lecturer and in the UK charity sector.
