People Rachel Barber
Finance Manager (Currently on Sabbatical), Oxford Martin School
Rachel Barber joined the School in early 2010 as Finance Manager. She is responsible for providing financial administration for the $50 million James Martin 21st Century School Challenge, including all data-collection, management, accounting and reporting required. She also provides additional finance support to the Administrator on all aspects of the School’s activities.
Before joining the School, Rachel worked in the private sector, developing funding applications for a wide range of publicly funded economic development projects and business support services, with a particular focus on European funding streams. Prior to that she worked in the public sector, including local government, as a Programme Manager providing financial monitoring, audit compliance and project management support for a broad portfolio of local regeneration, learning and skills projects Rachel has a BA in European Studies from the University of Hull.
