Professor of Condensed Matter Physics

My main interests have been in making optical measurements on wide-bandgap semiconductors and low-dimensional systems such as quantum wells, wires and dots. Recent investigations include single photon spectroscopy of quantum dots and nanocolumns in III-V materials such as GaN and InGaN, coupled cavity work based on photonic crystals in InGaAs and coupling of biological molecules to external microcavities.
