Dr Rob Bellamy is Presidential Fellow in Environment in the Department of Geography at the University of Manchester and a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society and Institute of British Geographers. His research focuses on the interactions between global environmental change and society, particularly in relation to climate change and energy. He has three current research projects investigating how negative emissions technologies might be responsibly incentivised and assessed.
He has previously worked on research projects on systemic participation in energy system transitions, the social readiness of innovations for adaptation to extreme weather and geoengineering assessment and governance.
