Ben did his doctoral research on epistemic utility theory, decision theory, and social epistemology. His current interests also include normative uncertainty in ethics and epistemology, existential risk (especially related to AI), and bayesian epistemology. Ben holds a PhD in philosophy from Rutgers University and an AB from the University of Chicago
