People Dr Liyu Jin PhD
Oxford Martin Fellow, Oxford Martin Programme on Integrating Renewable Energy
Dr Liyu Jin is a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Materials, and a Fellow of the Oxford Martin Programme on Integrating Renewable Energy.
His research focused on understanding the roles of crystal structures and ion dynamics of battery materials that underpin their performance for energy storage applications.
Liyu obtained a Bachelors (2011) and a PhD degree (2015) in materials science from Monash University in Australia. After taking a short period of research assistant role in Deakin University (Australia), he joined Professor Peter Bruce's Group at Oxford Materials as a postdoc in 2016.
