Joe Hasell is Head of Product and Design at Our World in Data, where he works across teams to develop tools and designs a publication that make research and data more accessible and understandable. He also contributes as a researcher, where his work focuses on global trends in poverty and economic inequality. He is currently working towards a DPhil at the University of Oxford.

Joe holds a BA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from Oxford University and an MSc in Economics and Finance from the University of Naples, Federico II. He also works on several research projects relating to inequality, including the Chartbook of Economic Inequality.
