Aman Majid is a Research Associate at the Environmental Change Institute at the University of Oxford. His research focuses on water and energy infrastructure systems, specialising in coupled systems modelling of these networks.
As part of the Oxford Martin Programme on Transboundary Resources Management, Aman is currently developing an integrated energy-water model for Israel, Palestine, and Jordan, in conjunction with regional stakeholders. It also seeks to understand how political cooperation could help in improving water and energy provisions.
Aman earned his MEng from the University of Sheffield before completing his DPhil at the University of Oxford. He has held research positions at the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA) as a YSSP, as well as the Department of Civil Engineering at the University of Auckland.
