Dr Jens Koed Madsen

Senior Research Assistant

Jens is a Senior Research Assistant at the University of Oxford where he works at the School of Geography and the Environment.

He is also a Research Assistant at St Catherine’s College; Oxford Martin Fellow of the Institute of New Economic Thinking and on the Oxford Martin Programme on Sustainable Oceans. He is also the lab manager for the COHESYS group, focussing on environmental sustainability and modelling information systems.

His research focuses on how people form their beliefs and why they act the way they do. His main areas of interest are information integration, source credibility, dynamic decision-making, the dissemination of misinformation, political persuasion, and complex systems management (e.g. environmental or informational sustainability).
