Research Associate, Transport Studies Unit
Jin-ho Chung is Research Associate of the Transport Studies Unit at the University of Oxford.
His research focuses on climate resilience, migration, urban development and social equity. Trained in political ecology and resilience studies, Jin-ho’s approach has been interdisciplinary and collaborative, drawing from collaborations with academics, policymakers, government, civil society, industry and local communities, aiming at improving the relationships between science, policy and practice.
Jin-ho completed his PhD in Human Geography at University College London. He previously worked as a postdoctoral research consultant on the 'Adaptation at Scale in Semi-Arid Regions' project at the University of East Anglia and on the 'Food and Forests in Africa' project funded by the Science for Nature and People Partnership at the International Institute for Environment and Development.
