Milad Nazarzadeh

Milad is an epidemiologist at the Nuffield Department of Women’s and Reproductive Health at the University of Oxford.

Prior to joining the Nuffield Department of Women’s and Reproductive Health, Milad completed his BSc of Public Health and MSc of Epidemiology in Zanjan and Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences in Tehran, Iran.

Then, at Sabzevar University of Medical Sciences, Iran he was a faculty member, lecturer, and research director from 2015-2017. He went on to be a faculty member and research director at Torbat Heydarieh University, Iran until 2018.

Milad's research interests include cardiovascular disease, genetic epidemiology and pharmacogenomics. His current research projects involve assessing causal risk factors of valvular heart disease, venous thromboembolism and atrial fibrillation using a combination of large-scale electronic health records and genetic techniques including Mendelian randomisation and genome wide association studies.
