Peter is a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Oxford Martin Programme on Technological and Economic Change. In his work, he tries to identify elementary quantitative relations that underlie the mechanisms of (technological) knowledge development.

Peter holds an interdisciplinary BSc from University College Utrecht and a MSc in theoretical physics (Utrecht University). After working two years as a trainee at TNO (Dutch Organisation for Applied Science) he went on to obtain a PhD at the Eindhoven University of Technology. In Eindhoven, his research was focused on the knowledge base dynamics of renewable energy technologies.
