Oxford Martin Senior Alumni Fellow
Professor Pedro Ferreira was Co-Director of the Oxford Martin Programme on Computational Cosmology.
His main interests are in Physical Cosmology and spans from the very early Universe to current measurements of structure formation. One of his foci of research is in the Cosmic Microwave Background and he has worked on the BOOMERanG, MAXIMA, CBI, Clover, QUIET and PLANCK experiments. He is also working on the dark sector, on theories of dark matter and modified gravity, scalar field theories of dark energy and possible tests of the Copernican principle. He continues to work on the theory and observations of large scale flows and methods for measuring cosmic magnetic fields.
