Valentina is a Researcher at the Oxford Martin Programme on the Future of Development at the University of Oxford. At the University she is also affiliated with the Centre for the Study of African Economies (CSAE).

Her research interests are Development Economics with a focus on Migration, Climate Change and Labour. She holds an MPhil in Economics from the Tinbergen Institute and an MSc in Economics from the Universidad de Montevideo.
