Yufan Xu is a postdoctoral researcher in the Bayley Group. He is working on The Oxford Martin Programme on 3D Printing for Brain Repair, which is an interdisciplinary and collaborative project to engineer brain tissues for implant purposes.

He studied droplet microfluidics in the University of Cambridge (PhD) and 3D bioprinting in Tsinghua University (MPhil). He is interested in developing engineering technologies for the assembly of soft biomaterials to address the challenges in brain tissue engineering.
