May and June saw a lot of interesting research, including a new genome study highlighting the spread of Zika, new research on the global power plant capacity and climate goals, a new metric to measure how methane and other gases contribute to greenhouse gas emissions budgets, and the crucial role of ethics in current AI debates. The School has also had a number of media mentions, including articles in the Guardian, the Economist and Carbon Brief.
