Join the UK’s top female scientists as they take science to the streets.

ZSL and L’Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science with the support of the Royal Society have joined forces for 2012’s Soapbox Science, bringing 13 of the UK’s top female academics to their soapboxes to talk science and answer
the public’s burning science questions.

From explaining the merits of experiments in space, to how plants make decisions, the Soapbox Science event aims to showcase UK women in science and inspire the next generation of scientists by making science fun and accessible.

4-5 scientists will be speaking at a time, covering a wide variety of subjects.
