In conjunction with the Oxford Preservation Trust the Oxford Martin School is delighted to be part of the Oxford Open Doors 2019 programme and hopes that you can join us for a tour of our listed building.
On the corner of Holywell Street opposite the Kings Arms, look up and you’ll see an elephant weather vane atop a beautiful golden building. What started life as the Indian Institute in C19th is now the crossroads of pioneering research, policy and debate on 21st Century Challenges.
Restored in 2013, the Old Indian Institute Building now houses the Oxford Martin School and this is the fourth year that it is open to the public.
Come in to discover a place of stunning Indian carvings and glorious C19th architecture perfectly balanced with sympathetic C21st design, and to hear about the work being done by over 300 researchers working on some of the most pressing global issues.
To join us you will need to book on a tour.
