The conference will focus on post-graduate students and those who have recently completed their doctorates (up to five years) interested in biogeography topics. The aim is to provide a forum in which early career biogeographers have an opportunity to present and discuss their work through formal presentations (oral and posters), and to encourage the formation of informal peer-to-peer networks. More information and registration is available at www.biogeography.org/html/Meetings/index.html.

This conference is open to current students and recent graduates interested in Biogeography. We offer an opportunity to present your research as a talk or poster, and to create networks with other Early Career participants and IBS board members. Our keynote speakers will be members of the IBS Board, including Lawrence Heaney, Michael Dawson, Catherine Graham and Ken Feeley. There will also be a free workshop on communicating biogeography given by Prof Robert Whittaker, editor-in-chief of the Journal of Biogeography.
