'Restrepo' is a 2010 film by Sebastian Junger and Tim Hetherington, winner of the Sundance Grand Jury Documentary Prize, and heralded as perhaps the best war film ever made. Visit the official website - http://restrepothemovie.com/
Sebastian Junger has also written a companion book entitled War and a useful review of both the film and book was published in the New York Review of Books - see this link. ELAC and the Oxford Programme on the Changing Character of War (CCW) are co-hosting a screening of the film followed by an academic discussion on the ethical questions raised introduced by Dr David Rodin.
Places at the discussion are restricted, and pre-registration is required for this event. Please email lucy.crittenden@politics.ox.ac.uk.
