Former Chief Digital Officer of Microsoft and secondee to the UK government (now Chief Technology and Platform Officer at McKinsey & Co), Jacky Wright draws on experience of digital transformations and the impact of AI on organisations, to talk about how businesses, individuals and societies can adapt and thrive.
Inclusivity and leadership are necessary to enable effective change and, done well, the changes themselves can promote better outcomes for everyone.

Jacky Wright
Chief Technology & Platform Officer, McKinsey & Company
Until late 2022, Jacky Wright was Microsoft’s Chief Digital Officer and a Corporate Vice President. She is now Senior Partner, Chief Technology and Platform Officer, based at McKinsey & Co.
She was born in London but moved to the US as a teenager. She worked at BP, General Electric, and Andersen Consulting before Microsoft. On loan from Microsoft, from 2017-19 she was Chief Digital and Information Officer at HM Revenue and Customs.
She has advocated for diversity in technology and in the workplace and is on the Women's Innovation Council who aim to improve involvement of women in science and technology careers. She was number 4 in the Powerlist 2019 rankings of the most influential black people in the UK.
