Abstract: Artist Jeremy Sutton will demonstrate how state-of-the-art digital media (Macintosh MacBook Pro computer, Corel Painter X software and a Wacom Intuos3 A5 tablet) can be used by the 21st Century Fine Artist to transform digital photographs into fine art paintings. This art-in-action improvised demonstration will provide a framework for discussing the challenges and opportunities presented by the use of digital media for painting.
