A panel event hosted by the Global Migration Futures project for scholars in Oxford employing futures methodologies in their research.

The Global Migration Futures (GMF) project explores the future of international migration in North Africa and in Europe, using a scenario methodology.

The GMF team invite you to a panel event to share the project’s initial findings and discuss the method with other scholars employing scenarios in their research.

James Martin (founder of the Oxford Martin School) will give a keynote speech and concluding remarks. The panel will be chaired by Line Bonneau (Institute for Science, Innovation and Society; Saïd Business School) and includes:

  • Hein de Haas, International Migration Institute, Oxford Department of International Development (Migration)
  • Trudi Lang, Institute for Science, Innovation and Society; Saïd Business School (Organizational and governmental decision-making)
  • Arnoldo Kramer, Environmental Change Institute; Oxford University Centre for the Environment (Climate change)

The panel discussion will be followed by a catered reception in the hall.
