The Future of Development Programme are excited to be hosting a lecture and discussion session with the Senior Leadership team of BRAC as they celebrate their 50th anniversary.

BRAC is a pioneer in the international development field for its work in education, microfinance and poverty reduction in Asia and Africa, and we’re delighted to have them join us at the Oxford Martin School for this special event. The lecture will be followed by a lively discussion with invited Professors from Oxford’s interdisciplinary international development field.

We will hear from Asif Saleh (Executive Director, BRAC Bangladesh), Shameran Abed (Executive Director, BRAC International), Imran Matin (Executive Director, BRAC Institute of Governance and Development), and Scott MacMillan (Author, Hope Over Fate) as they share on Pioneering Evidence-Driven Innovations in Global Development: Opportunities and Challenges from 50 Years of BRAC Programs in Asia and Africa.

Light refreshments will be available before the talk, and lunch will be provided afterwards.

This event is organised by the Oxford Martin Programme on the Future of Development.
