Training: Eurostat migration and social conditions data

This training session is organised by Sogeti on behalf of the Statistical Office of the European Union (EUROSTAT) and the International Migration Institute

This training session will give participants an overview of the data provided by EUROSTAT, with a particular focus on the statistics on population and social conditions.

Trainers will present statistical data on particular areas such as migration, labour force and poverty, as well as the tools for data extraction. The afternoon session will help the user to access the data with exercises and useful tips.

Morning Session (9.30 - 12.30)

  • Overview of Eurostat databases
  • Data content and extraction

Afternoon Session (14.00 - 16.00)

  • Useful tips
  • Practical exercises

There is no registration fee, and all participants will be provided with lunch. The workshop has limited spaces that will be reserved on a 'first come first served' basis.
