The aim of this workshop was to explore ways to strengthen predictions of energy use in transport as well as to strengthen the practice of scenario building. Following the publication of the World Energy Council's report "Transport Technologies and Policy Scenarios" (2007), (led by Dr Godwin) and related activity by Transport Studies Unit (TSU) researchers on the field, the TSU decided to hold a workshop on long term scenarios for energy use in transport to explore common ideas and practices. Each presentation was followed by a 10 minutes discussion.
