On 20 October 2009, Professor Jeffrey Sachs, Director of the Earth Institute at Columbia University, spoke at a packed lecture hall in Oxford University's Museum of Natural History. The lecture on 'Repairing Economic Governance' followed a full day of discussions between the Earth Institute and the 21st Century School with the aim of identifying areas of mutual interests and new opportunities for collaboration.

The lecture was followed by a lively debate on some of the challenges facing current international institutions. You can read more about the event, and contribute to the ongoing debate on the 21School Blog. A podcast and video of the event will be available from the 21st Century School site shortly.
