As a pre-doctoral researcher, Aayushma works closely with Dr. Christian Meyer on a rich portfolio of projects in collaboration with researchers from leading universities and organizations. 

Her work engages with questions of labor migration, refugee integration, unemployment, and firm-level innovation, with a particular focus on African economies. In addition, she pursues her own research interests, seeking to understand how migration and the dynamics of labor markets shape broader trajectories of economic development, with a focus on her home country, Nepal.
