Amjad Parkar joined the Oxford Martin School in September 2023 from the University of Oxford's central Public Affairs Directorate.

At the directorate, he led on communicating the University's vaccine research and, most recently, managed its corporate communications.

He has accumulated extensive experience in PR, communications and journalism in the UK and abroad.

Amjad leads the communication of the aims, outcomes and achievements of the School, utilising his research communications expertise.
