Anudhii Sundaram

Anudhii is a Researcher at the Oxford Martin Programme on the Future of Development.

Anudhii has an avid interest in development and labour economics and is driven to use empirical and evidence-based research to particularly address issues of income inequality, gender disparity and educational inequality in the developing world. She is also keenly interested in exploring the realm of machine learning and its use in economic research.

In the past, she has worked as a research assistant in think tanks and research organisations such as the Centre for Teaching and Learning Economics (UCL), Planning Commission of India, Observer Research Foundation, Centre for Civil Society and the Indian Council for Research on International Economic Relations. Her research assistantships helped her acquire experience in quantitative research, policy evaluation and data analysis and exposed her to policy issues pertaining to education, water scarcity, healthcare, poverty, food insecurity and international trade.

She holds a Master’s degree in Data Science and Public Policy (Economics track) from the University College London (UCL) and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the Shri Ram College of Commerce, University of Delhi.
