Macroeconomics Research and Policy Officer
Camilla serves as a Macroeconomics Research and Policy Officer for the Future of Development Programme at Oxford Martin School, University of Oxford.
Camilla C. Talam is an experienced macroeconomist with diverse experiences in macroeconomics and development work. Her professional background has been focused at the Central Bank of Kenya where she served as an economist developing risk assessment frameworks and macro prudential tools in financial stability and supporting monetary policy formulation as part of the Monetary Policy Committee secretariat.
Before joining Oxford Martin School, Camilla worked at UNHCR managing a regional program on enhancing the investment climate in East, Horn of Africa, and Great Lakes region to promote economic and financial inclusion of Forcibly Displaced Communities.
Camilla’s research has focused on macro-financial and climate policy issues and she is passionate about shaping economic and climate policies in the context of macroeconomic and financial sector dynamics. She holds a Masters degree in Economic Development and Policy Analysis from the University of Nottingham and a Bachelor degree in Economics from the University of Tampa.
