Dr Christoffer Nellåker
MRC Methodology Research Fellow
At Oxford's Nuffield Department of Women's and Reproductive Health, Dr Christoffer Nellåker leads a group translating the latest developments in computer vision and digital phenotyping to understand biology.
The group works with facial recognition research for disease phenotyping, image analysis for placenta histology, and other imaging phenotypes. The unifying aim is to bring these methods to clinical use as assistive technologies for a correct diagnosis and association with genome sequencing to identify mutations causing disease.
