Frances Manning

Researcher in Life Cycle Assessment

Frances is a researcher in life cycle assessments in the HESTIA platform. Frances is inputting agri-environmental data into the platform.

Frances has a BSc in Biological Sciences with honours in Ecology from the University of Edinburgh. She has an MRes in Ecology and Environmental Management from the University of York. Frances obtained her PhD in Biological Sciences from the University of Aberdeen where she looked at the carbon dynamics in oil palm agroecosystems. Since then Frances has assisted on the IPCC Special Report in Climate Change and Land as a Chapter Scientist and worked for ADAS as a Climate and Sustainability Consultant for four years.

Frances is interested in food security and how the impacts of climate change will affect global food supply chains.
