John’s current research explores how changes in UK land-use, and particularly ecological restoration, can contribute to climate change mitigation and provide wider benefits for people and nature. He is also interested in agricultural greenhouse gas emissions, and different visions for a sustainable food system that is compatible with global climate targets.
