Dr Linna Zhou

Oxford Martin Fellow

Linna Zhou received Bachelors degrees in Applied Chemistry and in Bioscience from Huazhong University of Science and Technology and Wuhan University.

She obtained Masters degrees in Medicinal Chemistry and in Life Sciences from the Chinese Academy of Sciences in Shanghai and the University of Edinburgh. After receiving a PhD in Drug Discovery at St Andrews University in 2012 on a Cancer Research UK Fellowship, Linna joined the University of Basel on a Novartis Postdoctoral fellowship.

In 2014, she joined Hagan Bayley's group at the University of Oxford where she has developed techniques for the 3D printing of human brain tissues and tumours.
