What can the world's forests teach us about climate change?

Tropical forests currently absorb around ten percent of our carbon dioxide emissions, acting as a moderate break on climate change. The concern is that at some point this break may turn into an accelerator. Professor Yadvinder Malhi explains why it is vital that we understand the mechanisms of our forests.
