Title: Natural capital acupuncture points: How to identify where to place the needle

Speaker: Andrew Mitchell, Founder and Executive Director, Global Canopy Programme

Summary: Today, forest destruction is largely driven by consumer demand and agribusiness fueled by a $92.2 billion global tsunami of international finance. How can science help identify where policy makers could work with private sector interests to turn the tide around? Andrew will shed light on this question through his current work with GCP on forests, farmers and finance which is seeking leveraging points in global forest risk supply chains and innovative mechanisms within the financial sector that could help halt deforestation.

OCTF seminar will be followed by drinks. All welcome - to book a place please go to https://bookwhen.com/octf
