Professor Julian Savulescu, Director of the Programme on the Ethics of the New Biosciences

Summary: Savulescu will review some of the possibilites of enhancing human capabilities, focussing mainly on cognitive capabilities. He will give several arguments that we have a moral obligation to employ enhancement technologies both to improve our own and our children's lives, and to select better children by the use of genetic and other testing.
