Ioana is currently a data scientist with the AGENDA Project, a research group that aims to improve the diagnosis of epilepsy in Brazil, India, Kenya, South Africa and Zimbabwe through designing portable EEGs and smartphone applications, and leveraging ethnographic work to ensure integration with the cultural contexts of the sites. Ioana works within the Apps and Data team to deploy and maintain models and apps that support the epilepsy diagnostic pathway.

Prior to her work with AGENDA she completed an MSci in Mathematics at Imperial College London, focusing on applied mathematics and computing.
