the project
The Environmental Change Institute is an interdisciplinary research and teaching unit working to answer questions about how and why the environment is changing and how responses can be developed through public policy, private enterprise and social initiatives.
The Institute analyses and designs cross-sectoral solutions to environmental risk including climate change, land and ecosystem degradation.
The Institute maintains close research links with the Oxford Martin School, with many collaborations continuing to develop and prosper through an ongoing exchange of expertise and communication.
The Environmental Change Institute takes an interdisciplinary approach to research, which is inspired by the needs of decision makers who are striving to respond to global environmental change.
